𝓱YPER
Research project realised during -1 Residency at Nieuwe Instituut, with -1 Digital Lab department.
In collaboration with artist and drag performer Martyrio.
Sound piece by Aleksandra Nazarova
✰✰✰
Multi-media installation and performance exploring upskirting as a system of surveillance and cataloguing of feminised bodies. Using drag as a device to accelerate and destabilise gender hierarchies, the work replaces secrecy with hyper-exposure, turning the logic of the candid gaze against itself through live performance, security cameras, and real-time visual manipulation, blurring the binary of who watches and who is watched.
